This is my first serious attempt at building a medieval siege
engine. It's small, but it will throw a grape about 45 or 50 feet with a 2 pound
counterweight.

In these three pictures, you can see the
basic construction of my trebuchet. The frame is made from 1" x
2" lumber and the arm is made from 1 1/4" x 1/4"
trim. The counterbalance is 2 pounds of lead from the fishing
department.
