Day 5: Haleakala bike ride, wedding rehearsal, luau

We started Sunday at 3:00 AM when Tom from Maui Downhill picked us up at our hotel. 
We were at the top of Haleakala for the sunrise. What a sight!
Then we rode bikes 38 miles to the shore at Paia.
That's 38 miles and we only had to pedal a few hundred yards!

When we got back, those of us who hadn't slept before going on the bike ride had time for a quick nap before the rehearsal.

After the rehearsal, everyone there for the wedding (about 60 people) went to the hotel's luau. Good show and dinner. I especially liked the turkey. Oh... and the hula dancer I point out in the pictures. :o)
